Culture activities in Tenerife

Tenerife offers cultural events as well as many forms of entertainment, such as its famous“Festival de Musica de Canarias”. It usually takes place in January and it provides classical concerts of a very high standard. Through the recently built Auditorio de Tenerife, more shows, concerts and operas are on offer all year round. The 'Universidad de La Laguna' is a university which during the summer organizes courses of various subjects in the South of the island, in Adeje . It is also possible for example, to do language courses, painting classes, and music courses here.  (Casa de la Cultura at Los Cristianos and at Adeje). Soon the newly built Conference Palace at Adeje, 'Magma', will also hold quality concerts and events.
